Who likes Asian food (after a week of heavy Russian and Easternized Western fare) will be very pleasantly surprized by this unassuming restaurant. Don't be put off by the entrance, over a parking lot, down into a basement. They have an English menue, and our young waitress was genuinely nice, with pretty good English. She also gave us the explanation for the good food: The boss and the cook are Chinese, and they often have Chinese / Taiwanese grouptours for lunch...We had some cute "extra charges" (like 20 rub for oily chili and 10 rub for chopsticks ;)), but paid about 40% less than for every other dinner in Russia... and left full and smiling...

Ended up here by accident - were looking gor a restaurant after visiting the Maritime Cathedral in Kronshtadt. Excellent house beer (a rarity in Russia nowadays), very good Chicken Kiev and other things we tried. A word of warning: no substitutions. Bill for a great dinner for 3: 2200 rubles ($35 or so)

We left the palace after closing time and were starving. We needed a bit to eat before grabbing an uber to where we were staying. We knew it would be slim pickings, but we were pleasantly surprised. Good house brewed draft beers. Duck leg with sauerkraut was plentiful, but it was light on the mushrooms and sauce. This restaurant will do the trick! Good strong free wifi to boot.Dear Emily M!
