Friendly service and good food with daily specials. I like their huuuge chicken fried steaks, which comes with massive amounts of sides (mashed potatoes, veggies) and great salads. Burgers and fries are good; Mex is grand! Very friendly family atmosphere. It can be difficult to find as the front of the restaurant doesn't face a street -- just trust your gps, ok? If you like drinks (beer, well/call) check out the happy hour specials.

Dodge City's newest restaurant and puts a modern twist on one of Dodge City's historic treasures. Featuring a menu with eclectic choices such as fried pickles, burgers, quail, steaks, seafood, and pasta, the Guymon Petro Bar & Grill will be open for lunch
we figured in Kansas we should get some pretty good steaks....Wrong! I ordered a $25 tenderloin filet . The âfiletâ was about a half inch thick and cooked to death ( I had asked for medium doneness). My husbandâs Hanger steak was chunks of meat very unevenly done, half medium rare as requested but half well done and over salted. Baked potatoes were good. Veggies were crunchy. Overpriced. Understaffed.

We stopped at Applebee's after spending about 45 minutes trying to find a place to eat, where we could park a moving truck. We ended up here. The food was very good, we all at off the 20 for 2 menu. All the food was great.

So glad to return to Dodge and see that Kate's is still around. I started visiting this place almost 40 years ago as a broke college student. The tacos were amazing and the schooners of beer were ginormous. After all these years, I can still say Kate's tacos are among the best, crispy, well stuffed, big enough for a meal (or two!). I hope this homey little joint lasts another 40 years!

I keep going back because the food is consistently above par and the service is too! I love their steaks, but they serve many other dishes worth exploring. For an intimate dinner, or family party. They can and will make it an enjoyabl experience!

Casual dining with three separate venues. One area has a classic casual dining area, another section offers an open concept sports bar feel with a thirty foot full service bar and TV's. The third area offers a unique dining car that you can sit and enjoy
Wonderful atmosphere with opportunity to eat in the saloon area or even a railroad dining car. Ask the owner for a tour and see the old safe and learn the history of the building. If you love trains, thereâs a lot to see here in the decor. Best brisket ever and Iâve spent a lot of time in Texas! Prices extremely fair too.
