This local club serves the most interesting and authentic Portuguese food as well as hamburgers (for those less adventurous). My first try of Moray eel tapas and also of goose barnacles (a famous local delicacy). The service is the best it can manage, which means not restaurant standard. The upside is that the prices are very reasonable.

What a great English pub, full of footy TVs, large inside & plenty of room outside, with a free swimming pool. Staff look after you as if they were family. We had Sunday dinner for three adults three children, it was large well cooked just like your mums dinner. Well done we will be back.

Had a disappointing meal here to celebrate a elderly relatives birthday recently. We had certain expectations given the website, but the restaurant didnât really stack up to the image presented. There was loud music playing which made it difficult to chat (It was an 89th birthday!) and the restaurant was largely open to the elements which didnât help. The food was ok, with one dish being really good, but the overall service was also disappointing. (Long waits, meals served some time apart etc). The bill was also a surprise as the most expensive meal we had during a 2 week holiday in the area. Sadly, it just wasnât worth that in my book.

We tried a few cafés in Burgau before returning here for many lunches and snacks.The food, service and prices are very good; very dependable overall. Great views and a nice welcome every time.Cross over the street to their ice cream shop afterwards for your dessert!
