We have been HUGE fans of Maliks for many years, but unfortunately the last few takeaways have been extremely disappointing :-( and now I am not sure e will return, too many not good meals, sorry .Sorry to hear this, we are here to take care of you. We fancied a change and the reviews of Nabab were pretty good, so we decided to give it a go. The restaurant is smaller than it looks from the outside, and the tables were small and quite close together, so although it wasnât particularly busy it was noisy. Its dimly lit too so reading the menu was difficult.Whilst the food was OK, it is nothing special at all, and it fails to get anywhere near the ratings Iâve seen for the place. Papadoms and chutney were OK, although the lime/mixed pickle was incredibly salty. My starter sheek kebab was a bit chewy in places. The dhansak was neither particularly well spiced or well presented. My naan bread was a bit soggy, and the saag aloo side was forgettable too. Mrs B has a shashlik which was a bit underwhelming.Service was fine but nothing special.I suppose if you are in Harefield and canât be bothered to travel itâs ok, but clearly some competition in the area would boost standards a bit. I'd give it 2 and a half stars, but I've given better places a 3 star rating and I'd rather go to them again than come back here.

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food here as the nice staff wanted to place our order quickly, and we were not ready. Pappadoms were quick! ;) the portions were fresh and on the small size. We had starters each and main course. Price is average for an upscale indian I would say.

Large, modern Indian fairly central in Uxbridge. It is fairly typical of most Indian restaurants, offering all the usual Tandoori dishes, plus korma, Bhuna, etc. There is a range of more interesting specials. Not a place for a special event IMO, but good for a friends or family night out. Friendly service.

The staff are fairly friendly & welcome you with a smile. They were busy with Saturday night deliveries & collections when I arrived, which consequently had me waiting for quite sometime to be served. I finally got my drink & poppadoms on the table after some facial features, ( should I feel the need to be pleading....???). An even further wait for my main to arrive. They could clearly see my concern but we're patient with them as it seemed they were rushed off their feet. My food was good though. Cannot fault the food. Possibly reason why they were so busy. Prices are a little on the dear side comparable to other restaurants in the area but would consider returning. Maybe a little more attentiveness to diners as well would be an improvement.
