We are not clubbies but this club has looked after us a couple of times now with a welcome drink and meal. It was very quiet on our visits but we were always made to feel very welcome.

Open 7 days a week, for lunch and dinner, quality meals and genuine country hospitality
The three of us had a good lunch. However the steak sandwich was served on toasted white bread. This lacked flavour and reduced the overall impact of the meal. There was nothing special about the chips served with the meals.

We dined as a party of four. The restaurant was bustling but the staff worked hard so that we never felt ignored or that service was taking longer than expected. The views from the restaurant out over the gardens and vineyards are lovely, with the hills in the background framing the scene. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Open for dinner 6 days a week. Closed Sunday evening. Locally sourced food wherever possible.
The experience of Elmâs Restaurant is not what youâd expect from a small country town of some 3,000.We stumbled across it when passing through Tumbarumba. We opted for Elmâs rather than head to one of the town pubs. Great decision on our part. Excellent menu, brilliant food, Interesting wine list, value for money and a stylish presentable restaurant attached to a large motel (we werenât motel guests.)City dining experience in the heart of the mountains.

Open 6 days a week, menu and specials board available. Fresh and tasty food, friendly service.
A beautiful country town on a cold morning and Dare to Bite delivered. The roaring fire place was most welcome. The servings are plentiful. Among the orders in our party of four were the omelette and the basic bacon and eggs. I asked for poached eggs which were cooked to perfection. The cappuccino also was a nice surprise, great taste. Good value for money and credit to café owners Mark & Hillary who made us city slickers feel welcome. Love Tumba and Dare to Bite.

Open 6 days a week, breakfast and lunch, dinner Friday and Saturday night, takeaway pizzas available. Locally sourced food, quality country hospitality.
We were looking for a place to grab a late afternoon coffee to discuss our work for the next day and my colleagues recommended that we meet at the Nest, the staff were very welcoming even though she was starting to clean up and close for the day. The coffee was great and the cafe itself has lots of character and the cake was tasty. This place also has a cinema attached but unfortunately was not open on my visit.Mark Sydney Australia Thanks Mark - glad we could provide that essential late arvo coffee. We've actually been considering the hours in afternoon if worth opening - to keep people like you happy, it seems it is! You'll have to come for a non work trip and catch a movie. Cheers
