The service doesn't match the outside of this small town cafe. We arrived at 11.05 for breakfast (which finished at 11am). The place was empty, and we were refused breakfast, because it finished 5mins earlier, in a very rude manner.Very Unfriendly and rude service followed by bad coffee.Definitely skip this place and continue up to Swansea.

Probably the best cuppa in Orford. Worth the stop to stretch legs and sit in the sun. the walk around the Orford inlet is also a good option.

This cafe looked very inviting from the outside. Tubs of flowers, a warm glow of light from between the ruffled curtains. Except inside the lady behind the counter was so grim and unsmiling. A sign announced that you must buy something before you can use the toilet,so my sister purchased a hot chocolate which she said was too chocolatey. I dont know what that means but she left most of it. Lucky that she did as she had a big tummy ache for the rest of the day.

Scorchers gets big ticks for superior eat-in or takeaway wood-fired pizzas, of which the Spring Bay seafood disc tops the list (local smoked mussels, scallops, bacon, cheddar, baby spinach and tomato relish). Hereâs also delicious coffee, salads and a lon
Stopped for a coffee-Only serving coffee in takeaway cups until 12- terrible environmental choice guys! Asked for a large 3 shot coffee as i like my coffee strong- checked by asking when it was served and she didnt know. We also didnt order any food as there was NO GLUTEN FREE choices. Were also told that we couldnt order any other food until 12. Come on you guys- this is on a Saturday, lots of people coming in. You had 2 choices of either premade muffins or a shortbread biscuit. Nothing else. We were given a chocolate muffin- COLD- that we didnt even order but must of paid for. Poor, service and substandard cafe.

Casual dining 7 days a week with a delicious menu featuring local produce and of course local seafood.
Very friendly waiter. Great selection to choose from. Fish pie was tasty, bit light on with seafood though! Fish (Fish &Chips) was definitely fresh and cooked perfectly. Pity the oyster were so expensive, they looked nice but were double the price from the ones we had from Port Arthur. Definitely worth the visit.
