Best deal in town. It is a typical Chinese buffet, don't let the Japanese name fool you. Selection is limited. But what they have available Is tasty. I'd recommend the hibachi grill. Your food is always cooked fresh.Stay away from their Soups. I had the runs from the soup. The wait staff is top notch. Never had to ask for a drink refill, or to get plates removed. I'd recommend that you give this place a try.

It pains me to write this review because we have always been huge sushi dojo fans, but after this visit,we will never return. The service has always been very slow but we overlooked it mostly because the food was very good.Well, tonight we didnât even get a chance to eat anything. We sat down and waited about 5 minutes before the waitress came to take our drink order, which was usual,so no big deal. When she returned with our ice waters I immediately saw particles of something floating throughout our water! We couldnât tell what it was but we werenât about to drink it.No joke, there were dozens of some kind of matter floating in there.I donât know if it came from the faucet or out of the ice machine but it looked nasty. We decided not only were we not eating there tonight but we wonât be back period.I called the waitress over and pointed out that there was some kind of nasty crap in our waters and told her we were leaving. She apologized and we walked out.Sushi dojo has just really gone downhill and thereâs no recovering from that as far as weâre concerned.
Still haven't found a good oriental restaurant in the area. Just another quasi-Chinese/sushi buffet operation. Do these places all get their prepared to heat up and serve food from the same distributor?Totally predictable fare. The place is clean, yet void of service, flavor, and quality. The search continues...

My family wanted to try this sit down Chinese restaurant. Upon entering the dcor is very pleasant; however, we could not have been more disappointed in the food. First, the egg rolls we ordered came ot so fast that they were obviously cooked before we ordered them, and they tasted like that and chewed like they had been sitting, very tough instead of crisp. The Moo Goo gai Pan I ordered was tasteless. My son's Lo Mein was spaghetti with soy sauce, absolutely horrible, and prepared with all the care of a cook who didn't care what he put out. The portions were small, but the food was so bad we didn't care, except it was rather expensive for Chinese, about $9 an entree. We will never eat at Chin's again.

Small restaurant but they have a huge selection of unique sushi rolls. Was very busy the night we were there but the service was prompt & waitress was very knowledgable-gave good recommendations.

I struggled to rate Joe's. My meal was no better than a "2"...but the others in our group thought theirs was OK. So - I just couldn't bring myself to award a lower rating. But our experience suggests that ordering the right item makes all the difference in your appreciation of Joe's. The atmosphere of Joe's is that of a typical, small town, main street restaurant that does a decent business catering to out-of-town visitors. Nothing special but perfectly acceptable. The larger room to the right behind the bar looks like a better place to sit than in the main room. We sat in the main room.Joe's is a combo of pub food, Americana, and Thai. I know. It sounds a bit hard to pull off and their menu is super long for a small, not-so-busy restaurant. I always puzzle over how the kitchen can have available all the fresh ingredients necessary to whip-up 50 different meals on demand? I figure "fresh" is likely unrealistic in that case.So I ordered a hamburger. And it was below average. In fact, one of the worst I've had in a long time - fast food included. The burger was thin and oddly shaped. The bun was maybe a little mushy and the result was the whole sandwich sort of fell apart in my hands. It was peppery and was probably frozen 15 minutes before I ate it. I ate much of my burger with a fork and knife. Huh?Pet peeve - they use an off-brand ketchup that is runny and just not very good. The service was fine and I saw a very nice bar area with many drafts available. I stuck to a mid-day soft drink.So...my meal was a "2" but I'll give Joe's a "3". I suggest you very carefully consider what you're ordering. We do appreciate your having visited our restaurant, and are sorry that your experience was not like the loyal customers who have made Joe's Place a success for almost two decades now. As owner, I can assure you that our food is always prepared fresh to order, and with the finest of ingredients. I cannot speak to your particular order, but our burgers are very popular, so I am sorry that yours was not appealing to you. Maybe next time, try the Thai...
