Reviews on Asian food in Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States. Scranton, at the center of the Lackawanna River Valley and nestled between the Pocono and Endless Mountains, is surrounded by nature. Just ten miles from the city is Lackawanna State Park, where visitors are welcome to sail or ice skate across the 198-acre Lackawanna Lake. But there's no need to leave the city to enjoy the great outdoors. Nay Aug Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, and includes a zoo, a museum, two Olympic sized swimming pools and a great gorge topped with a treehouse.

We love this place! It has a full sushi bar and hibachi too. It's also a good place for kids. The food is fresh. The waiters, and waitress are very friendly. And go out of their way to make you feel special. There's plenty of parking in front and a parking lot with entrance out back. The rest rooms are clean, and always have soap and paper towels. We even sat across from an old flame with her new victim! I almost didn't recognize her with out her pack of flying monkeys. But even though she was there it still didn't ruin a good night. We're going again. Just our two cents.

A Modern Ramen Joint
Lunch at this restaurant. Interesting entrees, pleasing atmosphere. Revitalized old brick commercial building, tastefully appointed and featuring fun music background. Sandwiches and wings were generous and tasty. Ramen entrees looked tempting; maybe next time. Will definitely return.

Food here was Sensational! We had an array of hibachi. Appetizers of calamari and tempura were crispy and flavorful with good dipping sauces. Soup and salad good. Tuna and NY strip was spot on rare!!! Donât miss this spot. Outside is deceiving. Canât wait to go back for sushi!!!

Did not have the greatest experience here. I ate here once during the first few months they were open (maybe it has improved since). Atmosphere was very nice but service was slow and sushi wasn't that good. It wasn't terrible but probably wouldn't recommend it to others.

While visiting the area, a few friends and I stumbled upon Thai Thai while walking around and decided we needed to try it. The three of us shared a large order of Tom Kha Gai, Chicken Fried Rice, and Spring Rolls. We also had Thai tea. All were delicious the Tom Kha Gai and Thai Tea were the biggest hits of the table. (The powdered spice in condiment caddy is excellent in the soup).

We live out of state but visit family in Scranton a few times a year. This was our first time here. Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was good. They turn on a disco ball and turn out the lights and sing when it is your birthday. A cute touch. We will be back next visit.
