Delicious food made from scratch. Excellent service. They have a great selection of wines, many not listed in the menu. Ask their sommelier for advices, he will be glad to give you recommendations. Highly recommended :)

A small restaurant (5-6 tables) with mainly take-away focus. Restaurant is clean with several free parking lots outside. The food (sushi) is fresh, good taste and nicely presented. Prices are good. Making it a good deal and great value for money. The best deals they have, are the deal of the day (100-149kr) and their family sushi combo with 60 pcs of sushi for just 489 kr. The family combo is our favourite. Watch out for coupons. They had this combo deal with coupon (Let's Deal) for only 289kr. That is a fantastic good deal!

Somewhat disappointed I had heard a lot of praise for the Bambus Sushi in Sandvika, just west of Oslo in Norway. We were with friends for dinner before a concert at the Sandvika Culture House. I was disappointed all right: The food was not what I expected, the service could have been better, the musak was disturbing.Having said this, I must add that my friends was very satisfied with the food, but we did not eat the same courses. As a starter I had the Sushi, 5 pieces nigiri (NOK 125). Iâm used to eat Sushi in other countries, where the sushi is made before your eyes and the price is reasonable, so I might be somewhat spoiled, but still. All the nigiri pieces tasted the same, being salmon, scampi, tuna or whatever it was. And the rice did not taste like it was cocked the same day. My friends had Tempura and Tom Kha Yen Kon soup, and they were all very satisfied. As a main course I had Lamb Teriyaki (NOK 299). The meat was not tender at all, tough and over fried, very hard to cut up. My friends had Lamb Satay and todays fish, and again they were happy, although the meat was not very tender. The staff were very friendly and helpful in the beginning, but when we had finished our food, they did not have much time for us. Bambus Sandvika is a big restaurant, and was clearly under-staffed that night.I could only find two toilets, out of one was broken. The whole evening we had to listen to a very annoying musak. First, I thought we had a very noisy discotheque nearby, but it seemed that the noise came from loudspeakers in the restaurant. The venue was nice and modern, and behind our table they had a chambre séparé, with a table that looked like it could seat at least 20 guests, nice.
Sushibar with takeaway . We does catering with all kinds of fusion
We are often at Ãst and have also served their food at parties. it has wonderful warm service especially if Kim the owner is present and wonderful food at a reasonable price. We worth a visit.
