Last night we got in late from twelve hours on the road. Jacob at Town Place Suites recommended Changâs to us for takeout. The food was great and piping hot. We ate like a couple of starved sharks. It hit the spot for both of us. Thanks

Rain Thai was above average, but not quite 5 stars. The service was fantastic and the decor is cute. The food was fine. The fresh rolls had a nice, basil flavor but the filling was a little too heavy on the noodles. The spicy basil with tofu was meh.

We had a takeout from China Kitchen and it was mostly good, but the Szechuan beef was rather disappointing in that it was largely a pile of vegetables with no spice to it. I appreciate that you can't expect authentic cooking outside China, but some heat would have been welcomed. Wontons and dumplings were very tasty and the noodles were quite good, so some highlights.

I was craving a Chinese food quick fix, and this cured me (in a good way)!Yes- food is my drug, therefore I consider it a "quick fix," a "hit," and I often need re-ups! LolI digress. Anyway- it's not your top of the line Chinese cuisine... But if u are looking for a budget-friendly fix, and are in the area- this should do.

We have eaten at Thai Chili in Ooltewah several times and the only thing that has kept me from giving the restaurant a five-star rating was it's size. As originally opened, very small and because of the quality of the food, usually crowded. The have recently expanded and there is now at least twice as much seating as when originally opened which virtually eliminates overcrowding (at least when we were there). Walk in the door and you are immediately greeted and taken to your seats. Almost immediately, you waitperson arrives and takes your beverage order and you are given you menu. Wow! What a menu! (Please remember that the spiciness of the food has been "moderated" to adapt it to American palates. If you like your food with a bit more of a "kick," tell your waitperson when you order. "Thai hot" is very close to what you get in Thailand.) I have probably been there about a dozen times and have never ordered the same thing twice. Every meal was absolutely perfect and brought back memories from years passed. Wonderful restaurant, staffed by wonderful people and exceptional cooks, service is outstanding and the price is very reasonable. Worth the trip to Ooltewah! (Remember, the restaurant is in a small mall (same one containing Food City) off Lee Highway and dinner is not served until 5:00 P.M.)
