Noticed this place from a taxi as we drove by, it can hardly be missed, its mock Chinese design stands out a mile in this city where Soviet-era, grey, and rectangle buildings abound. Inside, the décor is lovely and the service is actually quite good. The menu (they have ONE English menu! - but the Russian version has pictures) is the usual mish-mash of Chinese, Sushi, and 'European' dishes, so was expecting the usual bland Russian interpretation of Asian cuisine. Could not have been more wrong. The Goa soup was VERY spicy, and I'm used to Vindaloos served in Ireland, the locals must be blasted to the Cosmos when they try it! Had Chicken dynasty for main course - again this was very tasty. Go for one of the fried rice dishes as opposed to the boiled rice, which was a bit on the sparse side. If you're stuck in Murmansk for whatever reason, and hankering after something exotic and spicy, this place is a pleasant surprise!

This is a bright and airy café on the ground floor of the Azimut Hotel in the centre of Murmansk. It has cheerful and friendly staff, who speak a little English, serving the coffees and snacks with a smile. There is plenty of modern and comfortable seating available, with seating outside for smokers and for relaxing outside when the weather permits. The prices are surprisingly cheap considering that this café is part of an upmarket hotel. The coffee is excellent, and there is good free wifi available.
