Reviews on Asian food in Montecito, California, United States. Home to some of Santa Barbara County’s most famous residents, Montecito has always had an irresistible allure, first attracting vacationing movers and shakers in the 1880s. Today, locals, visitors and celebrities meander along Montecito’s stunning beaches, including famous Butterfly Beach, charming Coast Village Road and Upper Village. Drive or bike along the tree-shaded lanes, and do what the locals do: hang out on a sunny patio, read the paper and don't make a fuss if you see a famous face.

My fifth visit to this place. I love it. You sit at the counter, order, watch your food being prepared and salivate. Really really tasty food. Limited menu options - which is always a sign of freshly prepared food in a restaurant. Daily specials which are a treat. Fairly large portions. Fairly priced. What isn't there to like?I understand the owners will be opening a restaurant soon in Montecito. Yum yum.

We liked their parent restaurant, Empty Bowl, in the Public market downtown, sonwere delighted when this offshoot opened. Food is just as good and more choices. First I always try the Pad Thai and theirs ranks right up there. My husband loves their curries, while I usually go for the hangover noodles. Weâve eaten there 4 times since their recent opening , trying different dishes, no disappointments. Will keep going back!

Always like to come back here when I am in Santa Barbara. This Sushi place is always crowded and never disappoints. The wait to get a table (including outdoor seating) can be an hour. Plenty of places to enjoy some wine or a cocktail while you wait in the direct neighborhood

We went here for an evening adults only meal. Went beyond our expectations. So innovative and tasty. Every dish we had was fresh, excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Each dish had its own unique sauce, which enhanced the dish. This is an excellent choice for Japanese food.
