Rustic charm where the surprise is a wonderful menu behind the facade of a country pub. The food is exceptional.

A really strange location for a Thai restaurant, inside an uninspiring village pub! However, with Thai beer available, menu perused and selections made, we were seated in restaurant with one other couple and food arrived. It was of a very good quality, flavoursome and authentic. We would definitely come again!

We have been eating delicious food here - in restaurant and takeaway - for many years. House specialties are very tasty and they are flexible if you like a particular dish hotter/ milder. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Pickles Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant and takeaway we are open 7 days a week and we all so allow to all our customer to bring your own alcohol drink many thanks
We ordered a takeaway for 6 people on Tuesday evening. Was advised 45 minute wait and that was OK. On arrival we were surprised to find the restaurant very busy with about 30 guests waiting for and being served their food. Our food arrived in 1 hour. The very courteous staff offered a seat and refreshment while we waited. The food was good to average to poor. My jalfrezi was good - spicy and hot. The Kurmas were very disappointing - tasteless, very watery and much was thrown away. There were a couple of items that were unexpected - poppadums that were not ordered and, we think, a cheesy naan type of substance that was very burned and inedible. So that was thrown away as well. The cost was quite a lot more than we were expecting, but we were using an out-of-date menu. The actual prices were about 20% more than the old menu price.I think the restaurant was overwhelmed by customers (on a Tuesday?!) and the kitchen was stretched. I have to say the overall impression was disappointment, especially for our guests who made their own complaint.

Foodshion Garden is a fully licensed Chinese & Thai restaurant and takeaway in Market Drayton. Previously known as the New Ambrosia, we are now under a new management team since October 2017.
We ate here one Saturday evening before heading off to the theatre. We hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in. We were placed by the counter where they take orders for the takeaway and people collect from there. This isn't the best table in the house because of that but they were up front about it. The food choice is extensive and was delicious. Would definitely recommend for the great choice of food on the menu.
