We ate here late one evening after the Foreigner concert and we were very pleased with our meals of Seafood Pan Fried Noodles and House Special Lo Mein. They were both served piping hot along with ice cold Tsing Tao beers. Our server Jiyao did an excellent job. We will be sure to dine here again on our next trip to Atlantic CityDear Sunylatitude,Thank you for sharing the positive feedback from your recent experience at EastWind. Where do I begin? This place surpassed my expectations. Our server Tracy was perfect. She guided us through the menu and gave great suggestions. We ordered 5 small plates, 2 maki rolls, dessert and cocktails. All I can say is FLAVOR TOWN!!! Presentation of food A+; Flavors were outstanding and the concept makes for a fun night of trying new things and experiencing different flavors. They encourage you to order from each section of the menu to have a tasting of everything and so the meal progresses in a certain way. When dishes are done they just come right out so you never know what you're going to get first. We started with the CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS and let me just say, I'll never look at Brussels the same way....they were crispy, sweet, savory, salty and everything in between. DELICIOUS!Next were the WAGYU BEEF TACOS. My only complaint is that they are so tiny and leave you wanting more. The portion is 2 mini tacos and trust me you'll want more because the flavors explode in your mouth. WOW!Following the tacos were the SHRIMP TEMPURA with Garlic Aioli. Crispy, tender shrimp with a decadent creamy aioli and flavors of key lime. YUM!The last 2 small plates were CORN âMEKISHIKOâ and BEEF NEGIMA from the Robata Charcoal Grill section of the menu. These two items were quite possibly our favorites. The corn is little baby corn like you've never had before. It was the most interesting complex combination of flavors including freshly grated parmesan and delicious aioli. It's like the Japanese version of Mexican Street Corn or Elote. INSANE! Then came the Beef Negima which was the most tender yakitori literally bursting with flavor. It was unreal! We finished dinner with 2 maki rolls...spicy tuna and salmon avocado. We are sushi snobs so although this was very good and fresh tasting, my husband and I agreed we'd had better and would skip the sushi next time. In comparison to the small plates, the sushi just didn't stand out. They do however serve housemade Soy Sauce which I thought was super cool and different. As full as we were, we had to try the donuts for dessert and boy are we glad we did. Light and Airy Cinnamon Sugar Japanese Donuts served with Chocolate, PB and Green Tea Sauces for dipping. Absolutely divine! This was our very last dinner of our trip and we left this meal uber satisfied and in awe that a Japanese restaurant would steal the spot as our new # 1. Can't wait to return!! Already requested we go back for my Birthday in September. I'm dying to try the Short Rib as I've heard its so tender you can eat it with chopsticks!!!Dear tdcohnmasi77: Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience from your recent visit to Kuro inside Hard Rock Atlantic City. My husband and I always enjoy aP.F Chang's when we are in Atlantic City. This trip was no exception. Our server Kenyan was friendly and very efficient. The pork egg rolls were wonderful. The honey chicken was delicious. Kenyan was right there with drink refills. Our dinner was great. We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere if the restaurant, with its impressive decor. Our server was very professional, friendly and efficient. He explained everything for us, so we were able to order with confidence. The calamari salad was very good, a mix of sweet dressing, bitter greens and crunchy squid. The five spice duck was perfect. The one item that I would recommend giving a pass on is the pitcher of zen-gria. It is $47 for a pitcher of mostly ice. It was hard to know if the drink actually tasted good or not, since the ice watered it down so much. Other than the sangria (again, I stress, donât order it), it was a flavorful, satisfying meal.

The sushi presentation is beautiful, better still flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Chicken Teriyaki was served with perfectly cooked vegetables, all white meat chicken with a light Teriyaki sauce. The Walnut shrimp was not too rich or sweet..just right. Enjoyed the shrimp spring rolls..can't wait to return.
