I was initially very excited to find an Asian buffet located so close to the freeway and our lodging. Based on other Asian buffets I have visited around the countries, I expected the price to be somewhat lower and was surprised that the soda service was not included in the price of the buffet. The food was okay, but that was it - okay.

Japanese and chinese food
The Sushi here is phenomenal, we went with a party of eleven and were seated right away. The menu is very extensive, and all the sushi is delicious. The most fun is sampling what everyone else ordered,I had the Texas and it was worth going back for again. Definitely something for every one.

At $7.35 per adult at time of writing this review, the lunch buffet at the Hunan Chinese Restaurant featured a nice selection of dishes. HOWEVER if you are looking for hot as in spicy food you will be disappointed hence only 4 stars. We LOVE spicy food, the hotter the better. At the Hunan, all the dishes marked HOT were no different from the regular dishes. Yes, they were flavorful but that's it! Even the General Tso's didn't have a "kick" to it!One big plus was that the food was NOT greasy/oily! (I'm sure you all know how some Chinese food seems to be swimming in oil!) How were the egg rolls? Okay but not the best. Richard didn't like the spring rolls. Restaurant was clean as were the restrooms and the staff were courteous. Would we return? Probably yes, if in the area, as there was plenty to choose from and also quite a few vegetables incorporated into the dishes which we enjoy. Our kids of varying ages also enjoyed the food and one was glad to see French Fries! IMPORTANT to note that although this buffet did provide dessert there was NO ice cream.
While staying overnight in Kearney we needed some carry out meatless, cheeseless food. We really lucked out when we found Kyoto. We ordered two Vegetable Roll Comboâs and it was a complete and good-tasting meal. The Miso soup was perfect, the salad healthy and the vegetable rolls with the avocado, cucumber and asparagus were great. The 18 small rolls were accompanied by excellent ginger and wasabi. This place is walking distance from most of the Kearney hotels.

It serves authentic Indian and Nepalese food.
A bit challenging to locate in its hidden strip mall location, once you steer clear of the exterior pigeon droppings, youâll find a spacious restaurant interior filled with enticing fragrant scents. We ordered take out but noticed roughly a dozen buffet selections on offer. Tandoori chicken tantalized with a wonderfully piquant coating (finger-licking good to be honest), Lamb Xacuti offered tender meat chunks bathed in an intriguingly savory, creamy sauce, the kind begging you to mop up every last drop. The delicious Shrimp Malai Jhinga, redolent of coconut and cloves, is perfect over their long-grained Basmati rice. The shrimp were small but plenty. Lamb Briyani was also extremely tasty and I loved the pungent cloves and cardamom flavoring. The fried momos were rather pasty in consistency and lacked flavor, though the dipping sauce was interesting. The food tends to be rich but portion sizes are a tad small for the price. Besides the momos, the other disappointment was the naan. We ordered both plain and garlic and they were not as fluffy as we had hoped for. Ever go to an Indian restaurant and the sauces seem so much alike? Not here, the flavorings are distinct from both a visual and gustatory standpoint, and they are delicious. The flat naan needs improvement (and some anti-pigeon wires need to go up on the front outdoor sign).

A fusion of flavors from both the north and the south parts of Thailand come together in this wonderful family owned Thai restaurant
Great food. 2 of 3 got drunken noodles. Third person got pad Thai. All dishes were amazing. Also had spring rolls and silver bags as an appetizers. Thai isnât that prevalent in Nebraska let alone good Thai. Would recommend this to anyone!
