Our son had to be at CyRanch at 6pm and we didn't need to be there until 7pm, so we dropped him off then headed to North Harbor Bistro for a quick bite. They start you off with complimentary fried noodles with dipping sauce which is a nice touch. We ordered the Summer Soft Rolls ($5.50, non fried), Pan Fried Pork Dumplings ($6.50), and 1 drink for $2.25. Total was $18 including 20% tip. The dumplings were good but not a version I would necessarily crave, although my husband rated them a 4/5. The summer rolls were also good but I would have preferred more vegetables in them (versus just the soft noodles and shrimp inside). I was really glad to see peanut sauce served as the dip (as that is what I use when I make them at home), but I would have liked Hoisin sauce for more flavor. However when I asked the server if they had Hoisin sauce so I could add it, she did not know what that was. Other than that minor item, the service was fast and excellent. I think we were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

This place is really great for being in a remote area with not many restaurants to choose from. Clean, friendly atmosphere and nice customer service. The buffet has a good variety, including fresh veggies and fruits! The food seems a lot fresher than most buffets I've been to. The owner is super nice and the staff is extremely attentive to keeping the buffet dishes full and your drink filled!
There was an accident on 290 so my family decided we didnât want to leave Fairfield and wanted to try something new. Since we hadnât been to Slurping Noodles yet, we decided to give it a try. When you first arrive they hand you a menu and let you know the ordering process (you order at the counter). We found a table and sat down to analyze the menu. After you order, they bring food to you when it is ready and then check on you throughout your meal to see if you need refills or anything else (overall â service was really good). To start, we ordered the gyoza to split. Although the sauce was a little sweeter than we like, they were good and my husband said he would get them again. They arrived about the same time as the first two bowls. The third bowl, which was mine, takes longer so arrived last (which they warned me about when I ordered). It was Beef Udon - served in a different style bowl than the others (and easier to eat from since the bowlâs sides were not as steep) plus has thicker noodles (which I really liked), and served with a more traditional Asian style soup spoon (than what the other 2 Bowls received). In addition to the soup spoon, I also used a fork to swirl the noodles, not cool I know, but it was just easier since Iâm terrible with chopsticks. If you need silverware, it is by the drink dispensers (they serve Coke products - yay!). My husband got the Spicy Miso and my son got some kind of chicken ramen - both enjoyed their meals and said they would get them again. If youâre looking for a bargain, go during their Happy Hour. I believe it is 3-5pm, Monday thru Thursday. During Happy Hour, Tempura pieces are $1 each, $2 off Ramen & Udon bowls, and Yakitori Snack is only $3.

This Chinese restaurant is close to our home in Cypress, TX. It is a new restaurant with a nice decor, the staff is nice and attentive and the food is quite good. This is were I go now for my Chinese food fix. I order the lunch special Kung Pao shrimp with white rice, hot and sour soup, very good, and no egg roll. It is either egg roll or soup. Portions are ok for dine in but for some reason for take out they are smaller portions. I recommend to try and then up to you if you like it.

This is our second visit in two years. We ordered Beef Don ($13.95), Chicken Teriyaki ($15.45) and Beef Teriyaki ($21.45) from the Hibachi menu, California Roll ($4.75), and Mixed Tempura ($8.75, shrimp and vegetables, asked for more sweet potato and less broccoli which they accommodated). The Teriyaki entrees come with salad (basically just lettuce and dressing) and either miso or onion soup (we prefer the onion). My favorite part from the tempura was the sweet potato, but I probably shouldnât have gotten the tempura as my meal as it was too many items that were fried. Would have been a nice item to split as an appetizer (which it is intended for) with others. Overall, the meal was good, but probably not anything I would crave. Entrees also come with white rice or fried rice ($1.50 extra). Our server was very attentive and ensured our drinks were always full and kept the table clear through the different courses. Total cost with 20% tip was $95 for 4 people.

New Sushi Bar and Habachi Grill conveniently located adjacent to High Fashion Outlet Mall.
Tomiko has a very nice decor and great staff. We enjoy everything that we have tried here. On this trip it was Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad, Tempura, Grilled Chicken Skewers, and Assorted Sushi and Sashimi.Very fresh and flavorful. Excellent Presentation. Good pricing. Plenty of Parking.
