The restaurant's interior is in American style, obviously matching the BBQ theme. The tables are widely spaced. The acoustics could have been better, you can hear the chatter from the other tables. The car park is across the street. The meat is excellent. The spare ribs are slow cooked so the meat falls off the bones when you cut it. The aged beef is prepared by the restaurant itself and I would highly recommend it. The t-bone is bit to chewy for me: too much fat and sinew. We ordered a bottle of Cote Solei (Merlot) and it suits the dishes. It is soft and easy drinking without being too dominant in taste.

Plus points- The food was actually not bad- The service & price was OK tooMinus points- But nothing is worse than finding hairs in the food. Not just once but twice in separate months.

Izzi calls itself a Asian fusion restaurant. It is housed at a nice location closed to the Waal river. Easy parking at the quay. The restaurants interior is very well done. We had reservations and could choose to sit either inside or outside. We picked a table outside. The terrace is underneath the outside platform of another restaurant. However this is not disturbing. The menu is quite undetermined so we chose a plate of sushi mix for the four of us. As a fan of traditional sushi I was surprised. It was well made and tasty, though in my opinion too much use of spiced mayonaise. We had a second plate where we picked the more traditional sushi and kimchi. The food was well made although not my liking. Service however was bad. Although we ordered wine per bottle we were served per glass. We got a young and clumsy waiter. Dirty glasses and dusty plates. Beer spilled over the table, no cleaning. Rough serving of food. There was no soap at the men's lavatories. And apparently the soap in the ladies room seemed diluted with water. At about 60 euro's a person I expected more. Not recommended.

We where surprised by the location since it was situated basically in the forest. Very well. The menu was as all the sushi places you can find but the quality was pretty good. Sashimi was super fresh and the assortment more then enough. The only problem I have with those places is the staff is there only to bring food since everything can be ordered true a tablet.

Mijn Chinese vrouw was verast door de heerlijke Wantan soep die ons werd geserveerd. Ook de andere gerechten waren van een onverwacht hoge kwaliteit en bijna authentiek Chinees. Een terugkomer als we in de buurt zijn.
