I work away a lot so eat out a lot. Sago is easy to drive passed and not think much of it. However every time Iâm in the area I eat here. Food is great. I had pad Thai last night and it was as good as Iâve had anywhere. Korean noodles tonight, also very good. Itâs pretty no fills decor but really worth a visit

We visited this "RESTRAUNT" in early December after visiting Santa. Two very hungry parents and 3 starving children pulled in to Fermoy and went in to the first restaurant we saw. BAD idea.We went in and couldnt wait to finally be eating something. We weren't expecting too much but the decor was an immediate letdown. There was a family of 12 at the table against the wall and they were waiting for over an hour at that stage even though the place was only half-full.After 10 minutes they took our order for 5 main courses - no starters. In most Chinese restaurants you would be served in 10-15 minutes. After 25 minutes, I called the grumpy looking waitress and asked her what was the delay. She "checked" with the kitchen and informed us that it would be ready "very soon".All my children were very hungry especially my 9 year old daughter. She went to the cold bathroom and was down on her knees praying that the dinner was on the table on her return. No such luck! In the meantime, the family of 12 got fed-up of waiting and left. After 1 hour and 10 minutes our food arrived. Five dishes of slop.It was horrible, gloopy and inedible. All of the staff were extremely rude, unfriendly and showing no interest in their job. Absolutely deplorable.Even when I went to pay, the lady at reception completely ignored me!!!We will never, ever return here and would advise everyone to pass the door.
New to Fermoy, we decided to try Sakae and we were not disappointed! The Thai Red Curry was the nicest I have tasted in a long time served with steamed Japanese rice.. Do yourself a favour and try Sakae... I will most definitely make a return visit.

This Chinese restaurant provides a great service and seating gives privacy . Great 3 course meal on offer for 20 euro with very large starters . Found that the chicken dishes tasted like jelly chicken and were not 100% chicken breast . Went for beef and this was nice . Fab desserts . Would recommend this 100%. Very friendly staff also and you can bring your own wine .

The food was oke but quit expensive for what you get. The restaurant isnt really cosy but if the food is great that isnt an issue. I wouldnt go there a second time unless they lower their prices
