This was our second visit. Pictures are from when we patronised the first week they opened as my review on Trip Advisor hasnât been published until now. I had to add this place as new too then. Food is great. Owners personally say hello n come over to chat. Mixture of Malaysian/ Hong Kong cuisine. The second time we had fried noodles recommended by Eric & Stephanie(owners). It was so yummy, portions extremely large. This was specially cooked (not on menu) for hubby & I as I come from Malaysia like Stephanie. The buffet lunch was also nice.... beef rendang, butter chicken & black bean beef with rice and noodles.

Oily pile of noodles dominated by chopped carrot. Yuck. Ther'es not much more to say about this awful eatery. I will not be returning.

Spectacular views of the ocean & The Keppel Islands from this cafe. I enjoyed great coffee & a delicious toasty here after a brisk morning walk along the Main Beach of Yeppoon.. Friendly service & plenty of parking nearby.

Happy Sun Restaurant is the local Chinese in Yeppoon. While the food and service is usually excellent, this night our group was disappointed with the quantity of the food. Staff are usually generous with the servings, which results in our group visiting a couple of times a year, and families visiting more frequently. There are two parts to the restaurant. Firstly the table service which we took. There is also a service "All you can eat" section which allows take away.

I liked the Thai decorations, the cutlery and crockery. The music was pleasant and subtle and played loud enough you can hear it but not so loud that you canât have a conversation without yelling. The food was large, one main meal with a small serve of rice would be enough for two people. So enjoyed the stir fried green basil beef. The waiting staff was lovely and came over to ask how the meal was. Would come back next time Iâm in Yeppoon.

Visited for dinner whilst in Yeppoon on Saturday night. The two young girls who were the waitresses for the night were very friendly and efficient. The meals were delivered promptly and whilst they were some what bland in taste, they did have fresh ingredients and were ok. Might have been our selection of garlic and pepper chicken and oyster sauce seafood combination. Nothing memorable.
