This hotel is far from the beach on the main road to orissa. You have to walk through casuarina (jhau in bengali) groves to reach the beach. The walk is not very pleasant and the path is full of broken bottles and other rubbish. The hotel needs lots of maintenance and rooms are not in good condition.

Best place in Digha for having Chinese Food. The Food here is above average compared to Digha Standard. The Cook earlier was working in Goa & knows how to prepare & serve the food. The Place does not look up market but the food quality & taste can be compared with any good Restaurant in Kolkata. They don't serve ready made food but prepare. The price is just unbelievable. Don't know how can they afford to serve at so Cheap Price. The Meals served in Lunch is just awesome & very low in Price. If you are in hurry, it is advisable to pre order over Phone. U can taste Goa Famous Chicken Cafreal if you order them in Advance. All the Best Guys. Continue your Good Work.
Had a wonderful experience at Bhorpet on the day just after Christmas. Food was awesome, service very prompt, interiors spotless clean and the ambience very family friendly. If you are in New Digha, try not to miss out this restaurant. NB: Was overwhelmed by their friendly gesture of presenting a Christmas cake and a New Year card as we were moving out!
Just one word sums up it all- DELICIOUS! Really WoW! Momo... Along with a bowl of Thukpa the fried momo served by them was excellent. Though it was a bit costly compared to delicious momo available in Norther West Bengal. Only missed the steam momo! Would love to taste that next time...

The Bite is the inhouse restaurant of Hotel Dolphin, situated at Old Digha. Besides boarders, this restaurant is open for outside guests also. The restaurant has a normal ambience. During our stay at Hotel Dolphin, we had regularly visited the restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner, however seldom found the restaurant fully occupied. The breakfast options were limited like butter / jam toast & omlet, puri / luchi sabji, paratha sabji, chicken sandwitch etc., all priced in the range of Rs. 70-80, a cup of tea at Rs. 20. Hence normal breakfast for one person will cost around Rs. 100, certainly not inexpensive. The lunch / dinner had reasonable spread. We tried various veg & non-veg dishes like aloo bhaja (Rs. 50), aloo posto (Rs. 90), malai kofta (Rs. 130), egg curry (Rs. 60), chicken curry (140), chicken do-piyaza (Rs. 170), fish items like pomfret (Rs. 160), pabda (Rs. 150), parshe (Rs. 140) etc. The items were reasonably tasty. Price-wise relatively expensive, but by & large comparable with other decent restaurants in the town. Serving portions were normal. The staffs were well mannered and responsive. This restaurant accepts cards for payment. Overall good dining option at old Digha.
