Burgers still made to order. Good service and very close to a gas station/ sporting goods store. Don't let the location fool you. Plenty of clean seating for families and the best root beer in the world. Get a frosted glass!

Had lunch here on a very cold day. Ordered a house salad and bowl of chili. Friendly waitress suggested adding shredded cheese and onions sprinkled over the top. Salad arrived immediately. It was generous in portion and crispy fresh. Chili arrived while I was still eating salad and was sufficiently warm. Cheese and onions enhanced flavor considerably. Quantity was generous and just a little bit too much for me to finish on this day. Restaurant is located in conjunction with a convenience store and very large truck stop. Décor makes clever use of recycled license plates as light shades and wall decoration. Tables and chairs in center of diner have a silvery finish, which brightens the place up and makes it seem inviting and friendly. Booths along outside walls a little plainer but situated by large windows facing south and west. Extensive menu of typical American food items with a few Mexican entrees' as well.

We arrived about ten minutes to closing. They were happy to serve us regardless of the time. They even asked what kind of pizza they could prepare for us. The manager even approached our table asking if there was any certain kind of chicken they could get for us. It was awesome food that was very tasty. I wish we had one near us. Very good value for your money. Best service ever.

While in Waupun we saw an ad for Helenâs kitchen restaurant. Decided to take a chance, so we went to dinner and had the broasted chicken on the menu. It was tasty and well priced. Nice place, spacious and service was good.

When i review a small town place. 8 compare it to civilization, not to the competition. Both the salad and the steak had that " not so fresh vinegar taste. The steak was clearly a truck delivered steak, thin but marbled.Place was super clean, and somewhat inviting even if i felt like the odd man out.So... ill assume one of maybe 3 places to get a steak in townSo, like the expression says " you gotta eat "

What a wonderful place to eat and relax! The bar had such character, and our bartenders Amy and Carrie were delightful.We then ate a delicious dinner (I had the special of Pan-seared Scallops...incredible! My husband had the Prime Rib...also incredible!) Our waitress Ashley was very bubbly and very attentive.We highly recommend this unique spot and will make sure to stop again if we are ever on that side of our state.
