Platte Rive Pizza has great gourmet pizza, sandwiches, salads, and more. It's a quaint little restaurant with great food and great service. We were kindly greeted. Our food was served fresh out of the oven. You can even see them getting your pizza ready. We stayed pass closing and no one told us to leave. We didn't realize how late it was.

Passing through mid afternoon we noticed the sign for this place and the splendid looking outdoor beer garden space. We entered through the hotel lobby and waited by the hostess stand for a few minutes (where the sign instructed customers to wait to be seated.) Eventually the bartender/server/host walked by and said "Sit wherever you'd like." I asked if outdoors was fine (there was a family already sitting out there as well) and she said yes. So we went outside and sat down. Almost fifteen minutes passed with no sign of anyone coming outside to serve us. So my husband went in to the bar and ordered us two beers and carried them out. By the time we had finished those beers, nobody came out to offer us menus, check on us, or inquire about further drinks. So while we enjoyed the very beautiful and shaded beer garden, we are unsure of how they make money without offering to serve people food and drink.

This place is a jewel in the wilderness. A small cafe with a patio overlooking the Platte River. Our food was very good and of a portion to sate most appetites. Our server, Kelsey, was very pleasant and attentive. The place was very busy during our visit but the service was still outstanding. Kudos to the whole staff.

Outstanding! Went over on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and we gladly took the couch seats. Tried the turmeric cauliflower which was amazing and the burgers (but everything after the cauliflower paled in comparison). Also tried a couple bourbon flights! Great atmosphere and canât wait to go back!

Dinner as a couple and had the fillet mignon with a truly âloaded bake potatoâ with the Best veggie burger Iâve ever had. Very Busy and yet we were seated for our reservation promptly and given excellent customer service!! Will definitely be back when in the area, thanks!
