I took my Father in Law there and then a couple of weeks later, my wife because I liked the good Southern atmosphere and food. The waitresses were extra friendly and busy because they have a pretty good crowd at breakfast. I look forward to trying their lunch menu in the near future. GOOD EATS

I will say that the food was pretty good. Other than that, it wasnât a good visit. Lots of off-duty employees, including a manager smoking right next to door, were hanging around. Some were loudly talking about other employees. The place was extremely dirty including floors, windows and blinds had food smeared on them. I felt bad for the lady ahead of me. She got a to-go order that took way too long. I was about to ask for my money back when they brought our food. I would close this place if I couldnât get better help. Iâm surprised the health department hasnât done something here.
The owners are very nice and personable. The bar is a nice 'hole in the wall' stop for those who are locals or passing through. Clean inside and nice and cool. Plenty of bar space and seating as well. Back porch and plenty of biker friendly parking. Great spot for friends to meet up and there were obviously the locals who visited the establishment daily...which tells you something. We were visiting the area from FL and had lived up here for 5 years prior. Welcomed backed like old friends. Once you walk in Tim the owner will remember what you're beverage of choice is. We made this our evening chill out spot while staying in the Pine Tree Lodge down the road. Nice folks, good conversation, clean restrooms and ice cold beer. THANKS TIM

Have eaten here many times and its always good catfish, but the hush puppies are just OK. Service is always friendly and professional (at least as good as you can get around here LOL) and fun to enjoy your meal atmosphere.

Reopened in June of 2016, the "New Grannie's Kitchen" is operated by new management with a complete new staff. The food is cooked "Southern style" with recipes handed down from generation to generation. If you look real close you can almost see Grannies f

Although we can go and get catfish to cook at home, why would we when we have Josh's ?? Whole fish cooked perfectly, and cole slaw was amazing !! I have no idea why we don't eat there more often. It's just across the river from home. Got to remedy that for sure Good food, and great service.
