Just passing through on 77 pulled off to stay the night in the area and found Mason Jar on trip advisor. The two waitresses were working really hard place was pretty busy and kitchen seemed to be struggling to stay with it waited about 40 minutes for food which was pretty good but way too much pepper in Cole slaw and on the steak.
We found a Subway right next door to the hotel where we was staying . It was in with a Marathon gas and convenient store so instaead of spending more money on food we got subs for $1.99 and took them back to room for supper on Monday evening. Hubby gor the cold cut combo and I got the meatball sub! They were good!!! We had been shopping at the Southwest Farmers Mkt that morn and got some tomatoes so they went well with my meatball sub and hubby had his big green onions with his sub! Also a fresh peach for dessert!!!
If looks like a sh1thole, carnival food trailerbut the food is very good. Husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwich. It had a wonderful smoky flavor. Hubs had fries with his. I didnât care much for them. Theyâre the kind with the peel on them. Two bbqs and an order of fries was $15.

It's not a world class restaurant. But the food was pretty good and it came at a good price. Service was pretty good. Will probably stop by and eat here again.Thank you for your review and it was great having you here today , please come back and see us,

What a wonderful treat. Asked around and was told it was the best. Friendly staff. For dinner we had homemade meatloaf that was.absolutely amazing. Homemade.mashed potatoes and gravy. No prepackaged, frozen anything. Coconut meringue pie was terrific. We liked it so much we went back for breakfast. Decor included a "bulletin board for Easter put together by the staff. Just felt welcoming the minute you walked in.

Fancy Gap, Virginia isn't blessed with many places to eat but the Gap Deli is all it needs.Sitting just off the road amidst antique and craft stores the deli offers seating both inside and outside (in a very smart little garden).Simple hearty food, good value for money and friendly, smiling staff.I would recommend the meatloaf sandwich!
