Fantastic food in a true family owned rural restaurant. This is the real deal foks, great service and food and has thet local touch. Our first trip and we will be back! Friendly greeting the minute we arrived. Simple menu..steaks, sandwiches, salad bar, seafood. We ordered a cheeseburger as well as prime rib sandwich. Incredible flavor! Basic, fresh salad bar. Staff were very hospitable!
This Subway is a step above all the others. They have multiple people working so you don't have to wait in line for a long time. If you are looking for a quick place to eat in Elizabeth, you should stop at this Subway!
Bernie's has replaced the previous business in this building, "Route 86" which replaced "Wingnutzz". I hope Bernie succeeds - restaurants are a tough business and apparently the Town Fathers (if you will) have some pretty tough rules which discouraged the last businesses (yep - I knew them and got the inside word). Bernie & family are doing a great effort here. Best salad bar, freshest, most variety I've seen in years. Their entrees are all very well executed. The Saturday prime rib is to die for! Prices are good, food top shelf. I eat here sometimes for breakfast, often for lunch - burgers are great, so are the BLT's (Bernie plz add a ruben) - dinners I don't get there as much (BTW the chicken fried steak is perfect) but wifey like to eat ethnic cuisine like Thai & Italian & Mexican, not American as much and you know what they say - "happy wife, happy life". Or something like that.

Savor delicious homemade dishes at Catalina's Diner. We make all of our sauces from scratch to maintain the authenticity of the flavor. We only use fresh ingredients to prepare our delectable dishes. We have 10 years of experience. Ask about our military
Well they have you covered all the way from ice cream to pizzia to sandwitches... etc etc... It has changed hands a few times over the years but it just keeps getting better. Great place to take the family if you want some variety... oh and they have Mexican food too...

Two dining facilities in the golf clubhouse sharing the same kitchen. Downstairs, the golfers / sports bar and meeting place and upstairs the quieter dining/banqueting hall. There is outside dining at both levels. The menu varies from Prime Rib to Chicken Fried Steak and gravy and fresh salads but .... surprise - the Fish and Chips which I rate as as good as I have ever eaten and I am a Brit. The batter is tasty, perfectly deep-fried to a crisp golden brown and not at all oily. How the chef achieves this I can only theorize. The chips are not the plain French Fries, they are double fries and very tasty but need to be eaten quickly before they cool down. The staff are young, energetic, polite and most with good memories. This is not a snooty facility, the patrons are friendly, the ambiance very comfortable, the facility serves the local community very well.
