This Subway is better than average for sure. Almost all Subways are very good but this one has the small town sharm.

Stopped by the KFC in Brownsville, just off the interstate when passing through. Iâve got to say, the best KFC buffet Iâve ever enjoyed. Really good food, and a bunch of locals conversing over a great meal. The place is older, but well kept. It was a Sunday afternoon, so lots of folks eating after church. Made the place feel upscale, but not in a bad way. Really satisfying lunch!!!
ZZâs offers a wide range of delicious entrees and desserts. The atmosphere is quaint and friendly with plenty of room for lunch crowds. Our company recently held a company dinner/event that they hosted and catered perfectly. The best part of dining at ZZâs is the amazing staff. They are always happy to see their customers and know them by name. Easily the best restaurant in Haywood County!

It's an older place that is easy to pass by. DON'T!!!You will miss out on some great BBQ. As if stuck back in time, you feel like your entering a true BBQ shack. A couple picnic tables outside and a couple tables inside. Along the wall is an opening where you will find Ms. Helen ready to take your order. Very modest pricing for such good BBQ...you smell the smoker as soon as you pull in the lot. The food was excellent. My wife said the pulled pork was the best she has had. I have never had BBQ bologna, so I tried the combo sandwich. It was delicious. Ms. Helen will ask if you want mild or spicy. Don't be afraid of the spicy...it's not just a little kick. Was perfect on my sandwich. Warning...she does not take checks or cards...you must have cash. Not much, though...her prices are very reasonable.
