Family run Sportsmen's Inn Family Restaurant has served the Eastern Sierra breakfast, lunch, & dinner over 35 years. Order from lunch or dinner menus until closing; Home cooked Dinners include both soup & salad! For those inclined - beer, wine, or cocktai
Driving from Northern Nevada to Southern California (which we do, several times a year), Bridgeport is always our first "stretch stop", and hey, we might as well eat while we're here. No matter what time of the day, we always enjoy the brief time spent at the Sportsmen's Inn. We enjoy the casual atmosphere and the menu choices whether we're having breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a snack.

Lunch was good, and hot tea has many varieties. From caffiene to herbal. After lunch, go to the Marina and rent a Boat!! Lots of fun and relaxation. The Mono Village opens from April-Oct. so enjoy the season.

Burger and Fries were good, but nothing special. Service was a little strange. The server brought the food and engaged in some Idol banter, but seemed a little bit bitter about her job. she brought the check but never came back to take the money. Ended up having to go to the bar and pee. They took the check and the money back to the back room where I guess she was hiding. there are too many other places in town to get food. I wouldn't recommend this place unless they're the only place open.

Incredibly bad service by uncaring waitress and haughty blonde bartender. I seated myself at a tall table near the bar and was seen but ignored. After 15 minutes, I flagged down the server who informed me that the table I was seated at was ânot a table.â She then walked away. The blonde bartender, showing off to her friends, chided me with âhey you, sitting by yourselfâ and âif you ever come in here again, that is not a table. Ask the bartender.â What rude treatment of a patron. At the top of my bill was printed: âOrder: Random Dark Corner Table.â Avoid avoid avoid.

Our last meal before embarking on a backpack trip was breakfast at the Bridgeport Inn, and it definitely hit the spot. Nobody ordered anything that was difficult to make, and all of our dishes were served hot, tasted good, and filled us up. Coffee is served in large mugs, and the waitress refreshed them as needed.

The Virginia Creek Settlement is nestled in the natural beauty of the eastern slopes of the High Sierra within easy driving distance to Bodie Ghost Town, Mono Lake, Tioga Pass, Yosemite National Park, June Lake and Mammoth Lakes. Stop by on your way to Ca
We stayed at this property and ate the restaurant food twice. First of all, this is such a quaint place to stay, with very nice staff! The food was an added bonus. We really liked their high quality salads, fresh and green, enjoyed the steak. The pizza was too cheesy for me, but good (this is a personal preference- I am sure others love it that way--very filling :) I respect the hard work these folks put into their property. It is not easy getting good help in remote areas.
