Reviews on Wine Bar food in Padua, Province of Padua, Italy. Known as Padova in Italian, Padua may be the oldest city in northern Italy, if you believe the claims of its 12th-century BC founding by Trojans. It certainly has history, including its famous university (one of Europe’s oldest, from 1222), the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio (resting place of St. Anthony), and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. The magnificent Prato della Valle, a 950,000-square-foot elliptical square, is thought to be Europe’s second-biggest.

Il nostro è un ristorante sito nel centro storico di Padova e che offre un menù di solo pesce, colazioni, wine bar
This restaurant was amazing. The food and service were a real high point in our first trip to Italy. The staff was very warm and friendly and made us feel very much at home even though we do not speak Italian. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff seemed like they were a family. We liked it so much the first time, we went back the next day. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent choice for Cicchetti, typical dish from Padova. You can take a great spritz or an awesome wine with the Chicchetti, its very popular for the lunch and dinner time. It's convenient to make a reservation before, to ensure a place, because the place it's small.

Nice little place this with extremely friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I had come here for our main evening meal but I would suggest that this is a place to come to savour the wine and have a 'lite bite' to go with it. Can't fault the quality of the food, just the quantity.

Had an Invite from very dear and old friends of mine from Munich, Germany, to join them for their Wedding Celebrations to be held in Vó (Province of Padua Italy), whom actuary got married 2 weeks prior in their little village church.I arrived on the Thursday evening and styed over at my normal Hotel.Early Friday morning (July20thFri) we met up at my friends House and travelled to Munich central Bus Station for 08:00 where there was a private 60-seated coach waiting to take us and 30 other guests over to Vò (Province of Padua in the Italian Veneto region)Where we would be having their Wedding Celebrations. After a long day travelling from Munich we arrived around 17:30hrs at this venue where the main Celebration and dinner was due to happen that evening.20 plus guests would be staying here, with myself and some others were staying at other Vineyards close in the area.I with two others was taken to a lovely little farmhouse not far away in the centre of a vineyard, to first freshen up then return for Cherry & Cheese etc.Later that evening we had the main Celebrations with the dinner, speeches and cutting the cake, disco etc.We had an area which was separated from the main large Restaurant which had a few long tables and many smaller tables, along with a bar etc.The Venue Staff were brilliant, very friendly and to food was excellent with vegetarian foods and other main meats etc.The meal was some 5/6 courses, each were different and delicious and plentiful. The next day we all met up for breakfast, before travelling back to Munich via Padova for a visit. The breakfast was excellent and enough for me, the staff kept the coffee and water etc. coming. The Venue is in the centre of very large vineyards in the countryside. It has ample parking for many vehicles, our coach parked there still Saturday, when it would transport us all back to Munich.Inside the Farm Bacchus & Ariabne is well laid out and they get lots of visitors to have dinner and other celebrations their. It seems to me that this Venue is very popular with visitors from far and wide area.If one ever gets a chance to visit here, you would be very welcomed, as I understand from the owners; it is well worth a visit.Capt.Harry

This was recommended by our landlord as somewhere to taste & buy local wine. So we went. Three times. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and we enjoyed sampling several different local wines. It is tiny, standing room. We wanted to buy some to bring home and they helped us select and even weighed a bottle for us so we could calculate how many bottles we could fit in the case!Definitely will be on our itinerary in future.
