I was staying overnight at the Hampton Inn next door; Went to The Royal Scam for dinner. One other customer in the place, First thought is WTH is wrong here?? Staff all standing at far end of bar with arms crossed looking at me like "WTH do you want?? LOL.. Finally one came over and I ordered a drink, There was a small sign sitting on the bar that read, 'I am in charge" with the name - Katherine.... at some point i guess Katherine appeared and was asked by who seemed to be the manager; Katie" to what she replied, "KAtherine"... I was thinking, damn, this may be a good show here after all.... LOL.... I ordered the 9oz filet mignot... Excellent..... other than some questionable typical restaurant issues, great food with CRAZY employees!!!Richard, Iâm really sorry you got a bad impression of our service, but so glad you enjoyed the food. If you have a chance please reach out. Weâd like to hear a little more about your experience. We donât have an employee named Katherine, so we are very curious. Vacationing with golfing buddies, had dinner here. Great food with friendly service. Only complaint is that they wouldn't put tables together to seat our group even though the restaurant was mostly empty, so our group of 12 was split. Food was fantastic. Our table of four ordered from the small plates, shrimp dish, scallops, were so good, large plates of lamb ragout, and smoke chicken ere also great at our table. Interesting cocktails to start, overall good dinner

Haven't had dinner here in quite a while we went back primarily to enjoy the scene.Service was great my only complaint was that the scallops arrived and were only lukewarmThey have a great selection of wine and CocktailsI think we are lucky to have them here however it is not an inexpensive restaurant plan on spending $60 per personThank you for your comments. Stopped in for the great atmosphere with my US Army Corps of Engineers - SAD - Mobile, Alabama! They had their fill and then had some eats. Good place for wine and beer lovers!

The wine store (and they also have beer) has attached a restaurant. Diners shop for their wine and bring it to the table. There is an upcharge of $5.00 (they call it a corking fee) per bottle. However, a number of wines were priced lower than the sticker I see at home on the same varietals, so I still came out ahead (at least, thatâs what I told my husband, LOL).Several appetizers and pizzas available. As we passed by other tables en route to ours, everything looked tempting. They were not overly busy the night of our visit, so they âallowedâ us (I am using our serversâ words) to customize a pizza. It was terrific! Their wood fired oven delivered a pizza with the perfect combination of soft/crispy to the crust. The only suggestion I have for Red or White is I have NEVER been to a restaurant where they will not allow you to order a pizza with your choice of toppings. I have a lot of food allergies, so I almost always have to custom order a pizza. I was grateful the kitchen accommodated us, but as the person who brought out our pie remarked, âHey this looks great! Maybe we should add this combo to the menu.â
