Had an Invite from very dear and old friends of mine from Munich, Germany, to join them for their Wedding Celebrations to be held in Vó (Province of Padua Italy), whom actuary got married 2 weeks prior in their little village church.I arrived on the Thursday evening and styed over at my normal Hotel.Early Friday morning (July20thFri) we met up at my friends House and travelled to Munich central Bus Station for 08:00 where there was a private 60-seated coach waiting to take us and 30 other guests over to Vò (Province of Padua in the Italian Veneto region)Where we would be having their Wedding Celebrations. After a long day travelling from Munich we arrived around 17:30hrs at this venue where the main Celebration and dinner was due to happen that evening.20 plus guests would be staying here, with myself and some others were staying at other Vineyards close in the area.I with two others was taken to a lovely little farmhouse not far away in the centre of a vineyard, to first freshen up then return for Cherry & Cheese etc.Later that evening we had the main Celebrations with the dinner, speeches and cutting the cake, disco etc.We had an area which was separated from the main large Restaurant which had a few long tables and many smaller tables, along with a bar etc.The Venue Staff were brilliant, very friendly and to food was excellent with vegetarian foods and other main meats etc.The meal was some 5/6 courses, each were different and delicious and plentiful. The next day we all met up for breakfast, before travelling back to Munich via Padova for a visit. The breakfast was excellent and enough for me, the staff kept the coffee and water etc. coming. The Venue is in the centre of very large vineyards in the countryside. It has ample parking for many vehicles, our coach parked there still Saturday, when it would transport us all back to Munich.Inside the Farm Bacchus & Ariabne is well laid out and they get lots of visitors to have dinner and other celebrations their. It seems to me that this Venue is very popular with visitors from far and wide area.If one ever gets a chance to visit here, you would be very welcomed, as I understand from the owners; it is well worth a visit.Capt.Harry
The family have been running the 10 hectare vinyard since 1970. They produce 12 varieties of wine, grappa, jam, salami and ham. They also make their own cakes (â¬2 a slice) to serve in their restaurant area with space for more than 150 people. The lunch of cold ham and salami and two types of cheese served with bread and as much white wine, red wine or mineral water that you could drink was delicious. Coffee or tea is available for â¬1 a cup. Their golden muscatella is made into a prosecco costing â¬7 a bottle whereas most of the other wines cost â¬5 a bottle. Their website is only in Italian but they produce a leaflet in German and signs in the selling area are in both Italian and German. No English anywhere to be seen but the owner does speak English.

Our local (open continuously from 11 alle22) is located in the upper part of the village, behind the Loggia dei Vicari, you will find signs and boards that will indicate the Enoteca. A small but cuddly inside, and a terrace pool, which overlooks the villa
Visited this gorgeous little bar three times to enjoy the ambience, the friendliness of the staff, the food, the view AND what was decided amongst us from our exhaustive research of sampling Spritz across the region, the BEST SPRITZ. Utterly refreshing and delicious. If you're in Arqua Petrarca and need a bite to eat, a rest or a restorative tipple, then I would highly recommend this little place. The terrace has beautiful views and you will be warmly welcomed.

The winery experience was a highly enjoyable one. We went during the summer and the outdoor seating area was beautiful and cool despite the heat. The wine was some of the best that we had during our trip to Italy. Our favorite was the Colli Eugenei. We bought several bottles of different varieties to take with us as well. Their cheese and meat options to go with the wines were also delicious. I highly recommend visiting this winery and taking time to enjoy the scenery of the area around it.

We found the service to again be so pleasant and helpful. When trying to decide which of the many local wines to select, I was shown several bottles with explanations of all. There was no end of the patience shown, despite the fact all I ordered was a glass of wine. It is a popular spot for the locals and crowded around 7pm, so clearly, it has been discovered!
