Discover Restaurants offering the best Wine Bar food in Bath, England, United Kingdom. Known for its restorative wonders, Bath was once the home of Jane Austen. Sure, you could attempt to conjure up this elegant city by reading Pride and Prejudice in your tub, but as Bath has a lot more history than your bathroom (we assume, anyway) you'd be missing out. A stroll through Bath is like visiting an open-air museum, with roughly 5,000 buildings in the city drawing notice for their architectural merit. After your stroll, soak in the natural hot waters of the Thermae Bath Spa, once a favorite of the Celts and Romans.

We called in for breakfast early one morning to this delicatessen/café. It seemed to be very popular with locals. There is a seating area at the front and a larger area to the rear.We wanted toast for breakfast which wasn't on the menu but the gentleman was very obliging and made it for us.We enjoyed good quality coffee with some very nice toast all at a very reasonable prices.

Nipped in for a drink because it's opposite our hotel - what a great find! Great atmosphere and choice of wines and cocktails. We didn't have any food because we'd just had dinner but the food we could see other diners having looked lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
