this is a lovely surprise in a street parallel to the main shopping street. as it is always crowded reservations are recommended. the antipastas were all good. i always favor arsparigi which was good as a starter and as a first with pasta. all the wine looked good but as it was troppo caldo we settled for a glass.. the best for last the dolci. i had a fredo which had a nugget center and was an ice cream. dolcis change daily as does the menu which by the way is on the board and it is in Italian only

This restaurant and wine bar served great food and wines specializing in local specialties. Service was very good too.My starter was amazing â I had baccala wrapped in aubergine slices and cooked in breadcrumbs and parmesan, served with mussels. My main course was risotto with artichokes and Bra cheese. Dessert was tarte tatin with ice-cream and chocolate sauce. It was all excellent. Our table was in an arched room full of wine bottles which made for a good atmosphere.

We arrived in nizza monferrato from villa nova d'asti and came across this restaurant via the enoteca shop in the centre. Really good shop By the way!!!We turned up at 7.30 and were far from disappointed. The food was lovely ,service was excellent and the wine list fantastic and was not expensive . we had brema 2009 which was superb and would no doubt have cost in excess of £70 back in the ukYou have to visit this unassuming but great restaurant with a really friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic sommelier

The cicchetto is originality, the furniture is based on the recovery of wood from the cellar, the staves of the barrels have replaced the normal timber joinery. The atmosphere is simple and understated, the true style of Piedmont. The cicchetto is the real
Good food and nice service definitely to try! We land suggests this!
