We were not liking the touristy vibe of Ajaccio, but found this place on Trip Advisor. It was on a picturesque, quiet alleyway and had some incredible food and wine. We had the bruschetta named after the place, which had arugula, tomato sauce, goat cheese, and honey! It was an incredible taste combination. I recommend this place with all my highest praise!

This was our first evening restaurant experience in Ajaccio, and being 18 out of 300+ restaurants on TA our hopes were high. We were seated outside on an ok street, service was good with bread replenished, wine explained and prompt delivery of water. So far so good. The shared appetiser plate of dried meats and cheese was good, but the mains, in our view really let the experience down. Lukewarm and over cooked, and lacking in any kind of flavour. We wondered if theyâd been cooked and then left out whilst waiting for us to finish our starter. The scallops dish at 24 Euro seemed a lot for what turned out to be 4 overcooked scallops on a bed of pasta in some kind of tomato sauce (when Iâd initially enquired on the translation of the dish Iâd been told it came with leeks but despite a waiter rather sharpishly pointing these out to me in the dish when I expressed surprise at what was served I could detect no trace of a leek or any flavour at all in fact). Similarly my husband commented heâs never had duck so lacking in flavour and had to reach for the salt and pepper. We were given a lovely Corsican liquer on the house but declined dessert due to the disappointing mains, not wanting to risk it. The 100 Euro bill for 2 would have been ok if weâd had quality mains but unfortunately we didnât. Maybe we were just unlucky.

We were here for one night as part of a cruise and decided to eat in the town. A great tapas meal; we tried nine dishes all were excellent and the price with drinks very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The Rendez Vous, restaurant and wine bar located on Port Tino Rossi - Ajaccio. A refined traditional cuisine, a quality wine cellar. And enjoy a panoramic view of the old port of Ajaccio.
We loved the food - simple Corsican cuisine, well prepared with great tasting ingredients. The space as well is worth mentioning - simple, chic, with stylish furniture. The location is right on one of the ports of Ajaccio.
