If you on the Transfagarasan Highway you are more than welcomed to visit Bâlea Waterfall. Very beautiful waterfall with a lot of water even in August. The views on the way are amazing. Note that in the end of the trail you will have some rise therefore may be it will be difficult for small children, but the trail is very nice. How to get there? Search for “Balea Waterfall visitor center parking” and park a car there. Then start walking toward Bâlea Waterfall.

Amazing waterfall near “Dealul cu melci”. Parking is available near the waterfall for 5 RON. From the parking spot there is a 15 min walk until the waterfall.
