Frankston has long been Melbourne's favourite family playground, offering the best beaches, beautiful parks, gardens and endless opportunities for having fun. It's also the perfect base for exploring the Mornington Peninsula. Whether planning a brief stop over or a longer stay, see us for information on attractions, activities, events, local and regional maps and visitor guides. We have day trip suggestions, itineraries, tours and public transport advice. We also have a range of local and Australian made produce, gifts and souvenirs.
Mornington Peninsula is a beautiful part of Victoria and the Frankston Visitor Information Centre has all the information of what is going on. They also sell beautiful knicks & knacks made by locals. If it is the first time to the Peninsula it is well worth visiting and speaking to the wonderful staff.

You've come to the right place for the best advice on where to stay, what to see and what to do on the Mornington Peninsula. Our Visitor Information Centre offers advice that is friendly, expert and absolutely free - and there's no charge for using our booking service. We also can sell you a fishing license so you can drop in a line off our many piers or from your boat or a bathing pass to the Peninsula Hot Springs. We also have free Wifi. The Centre is open daily, closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and ANZAC Day.

Housed in the pretty wooden Hut is the Tourist Information Centre which is packed with information and very helpful volunteers who have a mind full of information. There is a restaurant located in the marina, but we enjoyed a picnic on the bench watching the Pelicans flying around.

For a one day trip from Melbourne I decided to visit this stunning place and on the way I stopped at the tourist office asking for information. The ladies at the desk are very friendly, helpful, they welcomed us with a warm smile and gave us many useful tips for our short stay. I'll definitely come back :D
