Great overnight stop prior to safari
Reviewed By Jane GOvernight stop after long flights from UK to Kasane. Room was spacious and clean, staff friendly. Home made pizza for lunch was good too. Situation was quiet ( apart from noisy family upstairs - not the villas fault) and river views were very nice.

Welcoming and clean home
Reviewed By chasebadCheck in was smooth and zero hassle. The room was big, bathroom big, large closet. AC was awesome in this botswana heat. Awesome stay and will be back again. Close to the airport as well which is a plus.

Reviewed By 979wallacecFairly clean space with a beautiful arrangement open space fitted kitchen.A very secure guest house with good parking space.15min drive to Riverwalk mall where all shops and ATMs are.It was difficult to find the guest house as not enough signage is provided but the manager was really helpful.Location is in a residential area and some noise could be heard from neighbors.My stay was fantastic all the same.

The Royal Tree Lodge is a small 4 star lodge ideally situated away from the bustle of Maun, the gateway to the Okavango delta. The lodge is set upon 200 hectare wildlife estate along the Thalamakane River. A number of wildlife species have been introduced, including, Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, and many more. The main thatched lounge, bar and dining room is spacious, stylishly furnished and opens onto a large teak deck. Guests are accommodated in eight well appointed luxurious tents and two honey-moon chalets. Activities include the marked walking trails, horse riding and day trips to the Moremi Game Reserve. he Okavango Delta.
Unbelievably helpful host and lovely location
Reviewed By 9gaylemJulius, the General Manager of the Royal Tree Lodge and his team are absolutely unparalleled. The location of the lodge is lovely, it reminded me of a tropical location in Thailand with wildlife. There are great walks to take allowing one to see Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas. Very safe and a nice way to wind down after Safari Rides in the National Parks. The team made every effort to make us feel welcome - including making a lovely cake for our 30th anniversary. We stayed in one of the casitas which was well appointed. I understand that they will be renovating the lodge in the near future, but I found it entirely satisfactory. The food was also quite good and reasonably priced. All in all, a lovely visit
