Located in an iconic Melbourne laneway, Hochi Mama is a fun and relaxed restaurant/bar serving up modern Vietnamese-inspired street food. Expect interesting interpretations of traditional classics, as well as more contemporary Asian Fusion menu items. In
Exceptional food and staff...could not fault this restaurant. Great value with their $65 deal for two people with meals that kept all the taste buds firing. Would highly recommend if you are doing a night out at the theatre or even just a nice dinner out.

Rice Paper Scissors is modeled on the hawker dining bars of South East Asia with a shared-eating concept being the focus of our offering. We aim to serve only the freshest ingredients, sourced organically and ethically where possible - and all our sauces,
What an unexpected treat!I stumbled across this place for lunch whilst in the city visiting an art installation. My local friend joined me and said sheâd been trying to dine there for ages (no bookings for evenings).Chose the banquet and where left well beyond full. The smoked chicken salad is to die for. Cocktails are a winner with daily specials and an exquisite Vietnamese inspired take on the classic espresso martini.Looking forward to revisiting soon.

Cochin (pronounced co-shin) is a casual but slick 60-seat restaurant and bar with dark timbers, earthy interiors and contemporary lighting. Our tapas-style share menu features French Vietnamese dishes like sautéed soft shell crab, beautiful duck a lâorang
There are so many well rated restaurants on Swan Street but Cochin stood out for its mix of good/different food. Very friendly and helpful service throughout, a fairly logical wine list and sparkling water charged for simply, not as a way to boost margin. We cheated and went for (were guided into) the âFeed meâ option. A simple three course feed that was nice but didnât really showcase the best of the menu. Next time, and there definitely will be one, we will choose what appeals instead. We left feeling we chose the right place to dine but sort of knowing we could have eaten better if we had made the effort.

Located at 15 Hardware Lane, just off Bourke St in the CBD, Rice Paper Sister offers the same fresh, organically sourced ingredients and inviting atmosphere as Rice Paper Scissors, with a "finer" dining experience.
I met friends from near and far recently and we were all so happy with our experience here. We shared all our dishes and there was not one that was disappointing. Stand outs, in my opinion, were the kingfish sashimi, duck pancakes, dory and the lamb. All super tasty and some unusual parings of flavours. One friend was gluten free and all meals were adapted for her which was fantastic. The cocktails were really impressive too. I would definitely return.

=Straight Outta Saigon will bring you the best from the south of Vietnam. The newly renovated restaurant has a much similar ambiance to the sister restaurant Hochi Mama. The rustic-street vibe restaurant will focus on bringing the best from Saigon with a
My 11yo daughter and I came here for dinner in between shows of The Cursed Child. Nicole and all the girls on staff were extremely welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious and the overall service was exceptional. I highly recommend dining at Straight Outta Saigon!!Great to have caught you and your family in between the play, Kaktus! We're looking forward to seeing you again.
