Very good restaurant. It clearly serves authentic vietnamese specialties as the place god packed with vietnamese people, by the time I ended my lunch. There are non spicy options and they're very careful in offering you something you'll like. The lemon-marinated beef salad is something I recommend.

We met the co owner Don at the Calaveras restaurant. He was such a great help. It was our first time eating at New Pho Saigon2. It does not disappoint. Each dish has their own distinct flavor and it is so freshly made. The prices for their dishes are so very reasonable. The menu to us is extensive compared to what we are offered in central valley. The soup for their pho is cooked 12 hrs so the soup has a rich body to it plus it is so flavorful. Don recommended #32 & #85. These dishes did not disappoint. Both had their own unique flavor and both were so very delicious. We ordered the egg rolls, short ribs, grilled pork cutlet, beef pho, a cold noodle dish that was recommended by Don (very delicious with interesting flavors that worked), mango dessert and Halo dessert. Each dish had their own special sauce which made for delicious tasting.I never had the Halo before. OMG was that was so delicious and so fresh tasting that I ordered another one. We had met up with our cousins and they had not tried any of those dishes before so it was a great eating experience. We will definitely come back next time we are up in the area.Dear Mrs. Donna L.,We thank you very much for your business and support! We appreciate for your time writing us a wonderful review. We will continue to do our best to serve our customers. We hope to see you and your family again when you are in the area.Sincerely,New Pho Saigon Management Team

Nothing special! Food was average. Go across the street to Pho Nguyen if you want a better Pho. Service was average, then again it's a family own place so don't expect extraordinary service. They have frozen yogurt but didn't try it. It was nice, meal came with free Thai milk tea (I think it's limited time only).
Grilled pork rice was fantastic. So flavorful. It's a bit hidden away from the street, so you have to look for it a bit, but it really close to the Ocean Market. It's totally remodeled, with a super clean environment, and service was excellent.
