Beware the traffic and bumpy roads in Nairobi, but these guides and drivers make it such a pleasure to travel. In the short time I had I was able to see all the animals. Everything that exists in Kenya we saw! Lions, Zebras, Giraffes ( beautiful, graceful giraffes, ) Buffaloes, wild beast, impalas, gazelle and all the rest of the family. I wanted to see hippopotamuses, we saw plenty. Thank you so very much, it was wonderful and I can’t wait to come back for more!

Masai Mara is an amazing experience and wish I had stayed a little longer. Lake Nakuru is also a wonderous place that needs to be visited. I plan to go again at some point.our guide was Absolutely terrific and we were lucky to be teamed up with some awesome people. I thought I had written this review already but I’m being reminded to do it so it is a little late in but I would tell anyone to just go do it. We could hear Hyena’s laughing at night time from our tent. We visited the Masai village which is an experience and a great insight as to how they live. Oh the tea they make you is very sweet but very very nice. It says we visited July but would allow me put the Jan ‘19 in it.
Mount Kenya is Africa’s second highest mountain at 5,199m (17,058 feet) and the highest of all Kenya Mountains. Mount Kenya is roughly circular, about 60km across at the 200mm contour, where the steep font hills rise out of the gentler slopes of the centered highlands. The most popular route although not the most scenic. It is also the fastest route to point Lenana. Take this classic route up Mount Kenya though the notoriously treacherous vertical bog and into the wide Teleki Valley beneath the Tryndall, The Lewis Glacier. Though the summit can be reached in 4 days as per the below itinerary, we strongly recommend an overnight acclimatization at the base hotel, Naromoru River Lodge.

Mt. Kenya, Africa’s second highest peak is regarded as the realm of Ngai, god of the local Kikuyu people. The Sirimon / Chogoria route is the most scenic route up Mount Kenya, Sirimon and Chogoria, producing a remarkably diverse and spectacular trek. Sirimon coming off the west of Mount Kenya passes through the dry side of the mountain with its giant trees and rocky terrain, and the descent onto the Chogoria path is exactly different with its lush bamboo and highland forests.
