Kalymnos, (Greek: Κάλυμνος) is a Greek island and municipality in the southeastern Aegean Sea. It belongs to the Dodecanese and is located to the west of the peninsula of Bodrum (the ancient Halicarnassos), between the islands of Kos (south, at a distance of 12 km (7 mi)) and Leros (north, at a distance of less than 2 km (1 mi)): the latter is linked to it through a series of islets. Kalymnos lies between two and five hours away by sea from Rhodes.

Your first stop is Vathi, a beautiful village on the island Kalymnos. The boat enters a magnificent natural fjord and as the valley of Vathi is slowly revealed, you have the chance to take pictures of the surrounding gulfs and caves. You will have 1 hour to explore When you return to the boat, a buffet lunch will be ready for you. The normal menu is pork or chicken Souvlaki, salad, tzatziki and bread. There is also a vegetarian option with beans and dolmades instead of meat. Next stop is Plati islet. The boat anchors close to the land and once the engines stop, you can jump in and swim around the boat. The sea is unbelievably clear, meaning you can easily notice the sandy bottom through the blue and turquoise waters. Meanwhile, on the boat, happy hour will start and the barman will serve refreshing cocktails at low prices. The last stop is Pserimos island. Explore, swim on the shallow, sandy beach, discover hidden paths or just relax at a local cafeteria or taverns

After switching buses three times, we ended up with another group of tourists who spoke French. Our guide, who was from Paris as I recall, catered more to the French-speaking tourists than to the English-speaking tourists. With a very rudimentary knowledge of French I could get the gist of what he was saying, and it was mostly not repeated in English. The guide was very personable, but we wanted to learn about Athens and what we were seeing. I complained to him at our lunch stop, and he said he would do better, but he did not. I have no complaints about the itinerary, it just would have been more enjoyable it we got the information in a language we could understand. Two things: 1. It is not fair if we were moved because they wanted more people on that bus. 2. I am sorry I did not review sooner, but somehow missed this opportunity when it was sent.
