I love coming here, they practically have everything. The staff is very friendly and the store is always well organized and cleaned up. Always a must stop every time i go through Reno. They have a huge aquarium and the kids love it! They have a number of animals on display that kids can feel like they are right next to. It’s a great place to stop and stretch your legs. They also have an electric shooting range where kids can shoot at cans and noises are made.

I visit Reno two or three times a year and usually stay and gamble in one of the large hotel/casinos in or near downtown. I often drove by Boomtown on the way into the city but this time decided to stop there for a change from the glitter and noise of downtown. I was really surprised when I got inside and found how nice the place was (you couldn't really tell from a quick drive-by). It was clean, not smoky and well stocked with hundreds of top end and new slot machines (my favorite). I also ate dinner in the Boomtown steak house which was excellent - the filet mignon just the right size and cooked perfectly to my liking. The prices were a fraction of the high end steak houses in other gambling facilities and the service was attentive but not intrusive. All the staff members that I encountered were friendly and helpful. There is also a campground located behind Boomtown for campers and RVs but I didn't stop to check it out this time. This will be my go-to place for future visits to Reno.
