After researching prices for Ski/Snowboard lessons, we came across Sierra-at-Tahoe and boy are we happy we did! Most in our group were beginners and none of the other ski resorts in the area were as accommodating as Sierra-at-Tahoe. We booked 3 days Ski/Ride Packages and a private shuttle to/and from for all at less than what we would have paid at other resorts. But that is NOT the main reason for this EXCELLENT rating, the main reason is how beautiful the runs were, more than enough greens, blues and blacks for every one, no waiting lines at the lifts, the slopes were groomed immaculately, everybody was friendly and laid back, the food in the food court was super, no long lines either for the buffet and the resort itself has a wonderful intimate feel that we allowed our tweens, to ski in groups by themselves, as all runs circle right back to base camp. I cannot say enough of how fantastic our ski-experience was at Sierra-at-Tahoe. The group department was THE BEST! I encourage everyone to skip the corporate Ski-Resorts and ski at Sierra-at-Tahoe next time, you will not be dissappointed!
