Following a 2 hour drive from Pisa to our villa we were met by the villa owner who offered to take us to La Dogana for an early evening meal. The restaurant is typical of the area with a great food choice. Its attached to Palazzo Vecchio and its vineyard. The wine selection is excellent and we did buy some to bring back to the UK. The service and food was excellent, along with an excellent playlist on the night. We did have 3 courses but didn't feel too full as the portion sizes were excellent. A great meal at a great venue and we had already decided to revisit during our dstay.
