Decided to take a weekend overnight in Karoonda to see the night time silo art. We stayed in one of the cabins organised by the local council (one of two so book) and there were a few caravans there as well. Thanks to Jenny at the local council for organising this so easily for us. We dined in the local pub, huge tasty meals but not exactly hot! The silo art during the day was great as was the pioneer village which was free to walk around. The silo art at night (6-9 pm) was really beautiful, lasting 30 minutes and showcasing many different artists and a variety of art styles. They showcase one artist a month but they do show the artists shown during the other months of the year. Thoroughly recommended and taking our granddaughter to see them in the school holidays, we enjoyed them so much.
