took the grandkids to their first medieval faire. they had the best time. running from one place to another. so many exhibits, and the shows were fun, exciting, faire goers get into the mood by dressing the parts. everyone has a great time. among the shows stars were dancing pig, fire eater, jugglers, jousting and so much more.
2. Morgan Swamp Nature Preserve
This 1,400-acre preserve is one of the largest privately protected forested wetlands in Ohio. It is home to an abundance of swamps, bogs, beaver ponds and vernal pools, and a rich diversity of plants and animals. Two separate areas, Morgan Swamp north (wheelchair access) and south are open to the public. Activities include hiking, playground, fishing, river access. Open year-round, dawn to dusk.
