Peaceful and serene trail for hikers, dogwalkers, bikes and strollers to enjoy the fall foliage along the river. Outdoor therapy!

If you are visiting the Pepperell area, a trip to the Pepperell Covered Bridge and the park associated with it are a must. The park has a podium stone and covered "hut" explaining the history of the town and a tribute to the Revolutionary War women who intercepted a British messenger on his way to Bunker Hill as he passed thru the area. An appreciation of Pepperell and the people who have lived there in the past is a fun part of visiting historical sites in Massachusettts. It is an easily overlooked park though because there are no large signs designating its location!
