The experience was fantastic. Robin and her crew were great and were very engaging. The trail was beautiful and changing around every corner. Our 10 year old couldn't have been more excited when Robin let her lead our group. It is clear the horses are well cared for and the barn was very nice. We have no regrets for choosing Elk Mountain Riding Company and we highly recommend them for a great time and will be returning next time we are in the area.

This seems like a small park. There are only a few parking places, but the waterfalls are beautiful and right by the road. If you climb to the top, you will find that the park extends a decent ways. The local Boy Scouts have made efforts to maintain the trails. You can walk a few miles that go by the stream and through the woods.

Understand that I am a member and played here many times before becoming a member. This is a very interesting course with enough tees to suit any skill level. The course has never been in better shape especially the greens. The staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. The views from any place on the course are splendid. It is certainly worth looking up from time to time to enjoy them. Women find this course a satisfying place to play without any hole that requires special talent to par or boogie. They have a driving range, really fine practices putting green as well as a chipping and practice bunker. Anyone who plays here will leave happy!

We are pioneering unique mountain-grown wines in the North Carolina High Country on our 40 acre vineyard and farm. In the vineyard, you'll find grape varieties such as Rielsing, Seyval Blanc, Noiret, Marquette, Petit Verdot, and Foch. In addition to grapes, the farm produces blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, heirloom apples, pumpkins, and Christmas Trees. At our elevation of 3200 feet, we have an incredibly unique environment for grapes to thrive and make award-winning wine! Our heartbeat is to have a space where you can relax, take in the beauty of the area, and taste what our mountains have to offer. Come see our Tuscan-style Tasting Room and find us just off milepost 317 on the Blue Ridge Parkway and a couple minutes drive from famous outdoor spots like Linville Falls and the Linville Gorge.
Very nice facility with friendly staff member who helped us. My wife likes sweeter ones so she did a flight which she enjoyed their offering of Rose; Blueberry; Blackberry; and Pink Lady. I had the Red Barn Blend. She enjoyed the pink lady the best. The red blend was good but a little dry for a blend. Reasonable price and the logo glass is included to take home!
