You can stop at the Visitors Center and just gaze at the dam or you can stay long enough to take a tour which I highly recommend. Videos and display in the Center give you the history but the up close look on the tour makes it feel real. Corps of Engineer guides are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions.

This is specialty foods and candy store with a tea/coffee shop in two adjacent, creatively renovated buildings in downtown Mount Morris, NY. I run a small, single-owner business with lots of care and personality! Come by and check out my huge candy display. I stock everything from old fashioned candies to Harry Potter treats, with an emphasis on natural licorices. I offer high quality chocolates, including truffles. My focus is primarily on local and New York State products. I have jams, mustards, gourmet cooking and dessert sauces, plus nut butters - along with baking and pantry items including grains, nuts and seeds, dried fruits, spices. And more! In my tea/coffee shop, I offer a selection of teas, coffees and light snacks. Plus, by prearrangement, I do formal British teas with traditional favorites made on site! I can coordinate with local businesses like Suzea's Gluten Free Bakery. Plus my tea/coffee room is available for relaxing with friends as well as small group meetings.
