A nice park, a bit off the beaten path, but a good walking trail, plenty of parking, a playground and even a large playground area too. It was clean and there was a ranger for security while I was there.

Plenty to look at especially if you like Lionel trains. As a kid I used to dream about owning all the various add ons available for my Lionel set. Still have all mine from pre war and then again from the fifties. I had a couple of problem locomotives I took to them for rebuilding and refurbishing. Also had a large transformer rebuilt. Prices were OK but it took a while to get them back. Nice that you can park right out front on the square. Lots of other interesting stores to visit while you are there. Check it Out!!!!

This park, operated by Montville Township in Medina County is recently established on the grounds of very impressive, but failed, golf course. The jogging/walking paths follow the old cart paths. A great mountain bike track now parallels and interweaves with the jogging paths. Interspersed are numerous well planned and constructed work-out stations. There are beautiful trees, wild flowers and wild life to enjoy all along the paths. It is fun to meet and greet others on the trails, many of whom bring their dogs. It is a fact that the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad and Interstate 71 are very much in evidence in parts of the park but one tends to get accustomed to this. There is nothing more impressive than watching a W & LE freight train pass over the grand trestle which is part of the park. The bike paths, and to a lesser extent, the walking jogging tracks draw folks from all over Northeast Ohio. I love this place!!

What a cute old historic cemetery. Some of the gravestones are so old, the weather has worn away the etching It's clean and quaint and if you're into historic cemeteries it's a nice one.
