Laura our tour guide made the trip. She would even take you home and make you a double sliced grilled cheese sandwich. With that kind of welcome and hospitality, I may start drinking bourbon which is my father in law's favorite drink. Laura whisked the tour through the entire process from the mash vats, to storage and bottling with the unique iconic wax top. You end up to do Maker's Mark 101, a tasting of at least five of their products. Bourbon, like fine wine, has a nose and a palate. Even the novice can taste the subtleties of each product. Well worth the time and monies spent.
